Bijra Yogini Thangka Painting
Vajrayogini is popularly known for tantric deities in Vajrayana pantheon. She is the queen of Dakinis the female Tantric deities or sky dancers. She is delightfully a supreme teacher of Tantric Yoga practice who allow those who are overwhelmed by strong desire and attachment to attain enlightenment.
She is portrayed here red in color standing on the golden surface of lotus flower and two daikinis naked with her left hand she drinks blood out of skull cup. Vajrayogini is prominently known in Nepal especially among Newari community worshipped by important daikini.
